Why is it that so many people don't bother to complete their profile? OK, leaving a few fields blank I can understand but girls, putting up your age, location, date of birth and a pic of yourself in a low-cut top doesn't cut it for me. I want to know something about you so I can tell you in a message that we might have something in common.

Niall, you are absolutely right, I am working on a 'profile meter' sowing what percentage of info has been completed so that when you search the results with a higher % of profile completion will show first, as well I am going to make more profile fields mandatory.

But of course I can't enforce 'meaningful' descriptions, those are entirely up to the members, but on the other hand a terrible/empty profile may be an early indicator that you shouldn't be wasting your time there??
